- How many plots are announced for Land Sale?
- Beach Front: 26 plots
- Beach Side: 34 plots
- Total 60 plots
- What is the minimum bidding rate?
- Beach Front: MVR 3,900.00 per sqft
- Beach Side: MVR 3,500.00 per sqft
- Bidders are required to bid for per sqft only. GST will be added to the proposed rates
- What are the documents to be submitted with the Bid?
- Bidders are required to submit the Original Form provided by HDC. A copy of the form will not be accepted.
- Along with the Original Bid Application Form, Bid Security, ID Card copy and if required, Power of Attorney.
- Can we apply to both bids with the same Bid Security?
- Customers are not required to get two separate bid securities for both the bids. Those applying for both bids, can submit the original Bid Security to Beach Front bid and a copy to the Beach Side bid.
- Bid security format issued from the Insurance companies are a bit different than the bid security format provided. In such cases will the bid security be accepted?
- Bid Security shall be as per the format provided by HDC, even though few wordings may differ, the dates, purpose of the bid, and the obligation conditions shall be as per the format provided by HDC. Any bid security without the mentioned details will not be accepted.
- How can waitlisted bidders of Beach Front plot apply to Beach Side?
- 5 bidders will be waitlisted for the Beach Front and Beach Side bid. However, if a waitlisted bidder of the Beach Front wants to apply for the Beach side bid, he/she shall withdraw his name from the waitlist and apply to the Beach Side bid.
- Will the bid security be released if the bid is not won?
- Yes, bid security will be released for all the customer who have not won the bid.
- Can the Bid Security amount be included for the Payment of the Land?
- The bidder can request to set the guarantee as part of the payment.
- How will the plot selection process be carried out?
- Bidders will be ranked from highest to lowest as per the proposed rate per sqft. The highest bidder will be given the opportunity to choose the plot and will be carried on as per the ranking order.
- What is the payment period for the Land?
- The bid winners are required to make the full payment of the Land within 60 calendar days from the date of Conditional Award Letter.
- If a Power of Attorney is appointed, should the documents be in his name?
- All bid documents, including the Bid Application form and Bid Security shall be in the name of the Bidder. However, on the application form, the area to be filled by the power of attorney holder shall be filled. Further, appointment of Power of Attorney shall be as per the format provided and submitted along with the documents.
