The workhorse of the commercial activities in Hulhumalé is about to compete for spaces in a new state of the art facility developed by HDC. A fully equipped Warehouse Distribution Center of 44,085.38sqft for wholesalers and retailers will be the perfect complementary facility to support the booming commercial activities across the Hulhumale’. From operational office spaces to light industrial work, a whole new set of possibilities are about to open up.

Location

The Distribution Centre is located at the intersection of Boashimaa Hingun and Unigas Magu, a connecting road to Velana International Airport via link road. This will make it convenient for tenants to shift the containers and cargo directly to storage with ease.

Unit Mix

There are 03 types of units which will be leased, namely; Wholesale Unit, Industrial Units and Support Office. The wholesale units are located in the ground and first floor which can be used for storage purposes. The Industrial Plots will allow the users to carry out light industrial works including printing, textile works, laundry services and other light industrial works approved by HDC. For the ease of the tenants, the building’s 3^rd floor includes reserved spaces for office units to process orders, make payments, and carry out day-to-day business activities.

The building consists of dedicated areas for loading and unloading, vehicle parking and drive-thru; making the building more suitable for its users. This includes a total of 50 motorcycle parking slots, 14 loading docks, and a designated space for waiting vehicles which can accommodate 5 vehicles at a time.

Supplementary Services

A convenience store will also be located on the ground floor of the building. From food and beverages to household items, this shop will cater to the basic needs of the tenants as well as the residents of Hulhumalé. The demand for this store cannot be overemphasized given that there is no other facility of its kind within close proximity.

Additionally, a food court will be established on the 3rd floor of the building which will be opened for the public as well. The area will include a store, kitchen area, and indoor and outdoor dining room.
